Dreaming ...

-A house in Berkeley or Palo Alto. Heck, any town that houses a good university will do.
-A comfortable job with flexible working hours. I should work cause I want to, not out of need.
-Riyaaz for at least 2 hours every day.
-Exercise for at least 30 mins each day.
-A couple of courses (preferably in the arts) at the school in 1.
-Watch movies every evening with Hobbes.
-Go out with like-minded, wavelength-matching friends every now and then.
-Listen to music every waking hour eg. wake up to a CD of Rashid Khan in the house in 1.

Felt like blogging today after a long time. Was listening to a favorite CD of mine this morning. "Mujhse pehli si muhabbat mere mehboob na maang" -- Noorjehan sounds divine when singing this. Her voice is so innocent, so young. That's what I admire in Lata's voice too, from her songs in the 40s and the 50s.

The Net is really making the world a very small place. In the last week, while googling for something, I came across two acquaintances that I had known many years ago and I didn't have a clue where they were or what they were doing. Reading about them seemed strange and weird, almost like I was prying into their personal life. That's the whole problem with WWW, you don't know which whacko is reading your thoughts!

From now, I will try and post regularly. I should have relatively more time on my hands. Let's see how long I can do this. I just found this new template, I made some modifications to it, and now I like my blog. I will try and put something up as often as I can.
