Baigan bharta
We don't have a gas stove at home, and an electric stove is just not suited for roasting an eggplant (or brinjal, as it is called in India). We recently bought a grill, and roasted the eggplant on it. Here are the results.

Aloo Tikki
A few days back I suddenly started craving for aloo-tikki-chaat. At my insistence, Hobbes "volunteered" to make it. And so, this Sat, we embarked on re-creating this favorite snack from my yester years. Here's the whole thing in pictures ...
